Alpha Course - The Alpha Course will be continuing through October at 7pm every Thursday. If you missed the first class you can still participate. All are welcome to this introductory course on the Christian faith that offers answers to some key questions in life. We watch a brief video on the week’s topic, break for some refreshments and then discuss the topic. Come and enjoy and bring a friend!
Quilting Class - Beginning October 13th, Anne Wasmund will be teaching a class on quilting at 7pm. The first meeting will be at Anne’s home and thereafter, classes will be held at the church. Spaghetti Dinner - Bring your appetite and join us October 16th at 5:30pm for a Spaghetti Dinner. A Free-Will offering will be matched with funds from Thrivent. Money raised will be used for the driveway project. The program for the evening will be a White Elephant Auction. Wrap a “gift” to bring to be auctioned. Your gift can be anything you have laying around the house that you don’t want and are happy to get rid of. You will receive “play” money to use. Our auctioneers are Ralph Walters and Mary Semrau. Sign up in the narthex.
CROP Walk - The Hamburg area CROP Walk is scheduled for Sunday, October 18th at 1pm with registration beginning at 12:30pm. CROP Walk materials are available in the church narthex. It’s time to gather our CROP walk teams and show Western New York what Hamburg can do! For more information, contact Ann Spear at 648-5447.
Church Photo Directory - Save the date…Tuesday, October 20th. This is the day Olan Mills will be at All Saints to take family photos which will be incorporated into a much needed updated church directory. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex. The photographer will be here from 3pm – 9:30pm on October 20th and you are asked to sign up for a sitting within that time frame. Each participating family will receive a free directory as well as a free 8 x 10 print. Other print packages will be available for purchase, with no obligation. If you are unable to be present on this day, other arrangements may be made. If you have any questions, please contact Mark Webster at 627-9206.
Lutheran Core/Word Alone Our next Regional Mission meeting will be held, appropriately, on Reformation Day, Saturday, October 31st at 10am. We will meet at St. John Lutheran Church, 6540 Main Street in Williamsville. Our guest speaker will be the Rev. Paul Spring, Chair of Lutheran CORE. Please plan to come to this important meeting.
